My name is Jonny and I use he/him/el pronouns. I am Iroquois, Cherokee, Mexican, Irish, and German. I am also a first-generation college student and a member of many different student clubs here on campus including ITSU, Second Chance, AISES, MEChA, MENAA, Rotaract, and Avanzando. My Mom immigrated to California during the height of the Vietnam War and my Father is from a lineage of veterans such as WWII, WWI, etc. I came to Sonoma County from Scottsdale, AZ just before the pandemic in July 2019. I am currently getting an associates in science so I can enter the Radiologic Technology program here at SRJC. I very much enjoy working with, helping, and building up people of all backgrounds so they can rise to their full capabilities. The Intercultural Center has been a massive resource and support center for me during my studies here at SRJC. I love how the Intercultural Center is a safe/comfort zone for any and all people. I feel a great honor in being able to help provide the same resources, support, comfort, and safe zone to others here at SRJC.
