Talofa, my name is Nevaeh. I'm Samoan, Tokaluanuan, Filipino, Round Valley Pomo Indian and Yukayo descent, where I am majoring in Studio Arts. I plan to use my major as a form to help others and is also a way to express themselves through any type of art. I have been involved with the SRJC by being a part of APASS (Asian- Pacific American Student Success) Cub Catalyst, volunteering at the Multicultural Museum, and ITSU (Inter-Tribal Student Union). Since being at the JC, the Intercultural Center has had a special place in my heart for meeting new people and a safe space to study. I feel very grateful that the Intercultural Center has been a part of my educational journey and now to help others through theirs.
